No. All ClamBells come with the backbox attached, there’s a choice of Shallow, Deep and Weatherproof​

The shallow box allows for surface wiring to the bell without the need for an additional electrical box. The Weatherproof version is similar but comes with an integrated seal and the correct cable glands.

The Acoustic Door Holder is seldom effective with voice alarms. The Acoustic Door Holder requires around 15 seconds of an alarm tone to record, process operate correctly. Voice sounders and voice alarms rarely have a 15 second alarm tone preceding the voice message.

Generally, flashing lights most likely to trigger seizures are between the frequency of 5 to 30 flashes per second (Hertz). The StroBell default setting is 60 Hz, well beyond the level above. Additionally the beacon on the StroBell is fully synchronized.

Yes. The FC3/A models can be provided with a Deep Base to IP66, Midi Fire-Cryer is IP66 as standard and the Maxi is IP67 as standard. The Mini Fire-Cryer is for internal use only.

Yes. DIP switches 1 and 2 can be used to change the sound output (db levels)

The Hydrosense control panels are manufactured to also comply with EN 54 standards for life safety equipment and therefore require the earth to be continually monitored. This facility is not required nor desired for water leak detection equipment and can be safely disabled using option No. 23
