Designed and manufactured in Japan, the Ogura HBB-180BL has been designed with on-site versatility in mind, allowing changes to rebar to be made on-site without costly delays and disruption. This ability to bend rebar quickly and easily on-site reduces dependency on pre-fabricated reinforcements, increasing flexibility and enabling adjustments to be made immediately when design changes occur.
The tool’s motor unit rotates a full 360º so the tool can perform both push and pull bending, operating in the tightest spots depending on site conditions. This allows precise operation in confined spaces, making it ideal for complex or restricted job sites. The tool’s unique spool valve mechanism ensures smooth, step-less bending. This step-less bending allows operators to achieve precise angles without being restricted to preset increments and to customise the rebar to exact project requirements without the risk of over-bending or misalignment, ensuring a cleaner, more accurate bend. Operators can easily adjust the angle mid-process if needed, making it ideal for handling unforeseen changes or complex designs.
The 18v high power brushless motor is housed in a water and dust-proof body for unstoppable operation even in the most challenging conditions. The battery will last for up to 80 rebar bends on a full charge and takes just 40 minutes to charge. The whole handheld unit weighs just 12.7kg, including the battery. The lightweight and balanced ergonomic design of the Ogura HBB-180BL from Vimpex minimises user fatigue, even during prolonged use, while reducing physical strain and the risk of accidental mishandling.
Each tool comes with a hexagonal wrench, product case and spanner, and Vimpex operates an in-house service and repair service at its Essex HQ for reliable after-sales care.
